Package delivered to wrong address....no insurance

Hey lovelies!  Quick question.

I had a package that was marked as delivered yesterday but it never came.  I literally picked up the mail from the mail carrier and there was no box.  I called the PO today noting that it was marked as delivered.  The lady looked up my tracking and mentioned that it was delivered on the wrong street as they had a substitute driver yesterday and that she would call me back.

Problem though, I had no insurance on it.....so what happens if it doesn't turn up?  It was the final set of pearly G4's that I needed to finish my collection.

My dad actually had the exact same issue with an Amiibo he ordered, instead of getting sent to our house it got sent to Quebec. He never purchased insurance and the seller/the site he ordered off of (Amazon) isn't charging him any extra to get it sent to the correct address; he didn't get insurance.

I'm sure if you contact the seller or owner of the site you bought from they'll be glad to get it sent to the correct address. Or you could even try contacting the people who it got sent to to see if they could shoot it your way.

The post office actually tracked it down and just delivered them.  So all are safe and sound now. . And collection is complete!
