Whatever method you choose, it never hurts to select a set of similar pieces and do a test run to be sure you are comfortable with the materials and techniques before starting on the real project!

If you have the ability to take a picture of the two parts you want to join, might be able to offer more specific advice.  Doing a test run is not a bad idea at all.

That sounds like a great idea.

I'll try to take a picture once I secure the figure I was planning to use for the body. :)
