I don't think Ivy has fading pink hair; I had mine in a spot where she'd be getting at least a bit of sunlight for years (I've moved her since, of course) and her hair still looks the same.

The magic motion Ivy's hair does in fact fade, however none of the other versions did. It might take some doing, or it might be a batch issue, but I've definitely seen one with almost white hair. Sky Skimmer, though, I haven't seen faded. Is it all versions or just the original?

Is it really a "kind" of hair that fade or just the color pink who's doomed?
Because I'm pretty sure it's more a color dye problem than a hair quality one.

Its that specific shade. Pussy Cat. Its the shade you see on ponies like G3 Pinkie Pie and G1 Sundance.

I dunno if any G2s had it.

Yeah they did, Sky Skimmer I believe had it
