Resolved: Facebook removes user account mid transaction?

I'm not really sure how to proceed. I'm involved in a transaction with someone on Facebook.

I did a store pickup for them but haven't been paid yet. I was to get them a shipping quote this week.

When I went to message them today I got an error that the user wasn't available. On my phone all their older messages are showing up as having been reported content which is odd to say the least. Then when I checked on my laptop it's coming up that there account is awaiting verification. As far as I know this doesn't seem like anything that I would fault the user for, but I don't have any other contact information for them.

Any ideas on how I should proceed?

Update: User posted publicly from their character account about the situation and we made contact :) It's running smoothly again :D

I've heard of some accounts (I think primarily USA) where people are being asked to give proof of their identity (that they are using their own real name instead of a screenname), so that might be what the verification is.

That's what I'm guessing happened. I know a handful of people who have had that happen to them. Which is why I'm thinking it's not the user's fault but still leaves me with no idea what I should be doing now?

You should expect money first before a pick up. Why spend your own money on someone else's purchase, ya know?

I can return. I generally require money first for any online orders. But after (but before shipping) when I'm helping search in store because I can return easily and have no idea if I'll even find the item to start with until I get there and look.

It wasn't me, was it...?  I recently deleted my FB account (which was ... Cloud Weaver).  But I though I finished up all my stuff. :) FB is just not for me....takes too much time away from my family. ^_^
