ashlyne - yup that's the one! :)

aaaa I'm so excited to see a page for these!! I forgot about Rama Llama, and the Charmkins pony.

Did they reuse any more of the Lil Litters animals for Sindy or was it just the kitty/bunny? :o

There's a puppy as well:

And a teddy bear. Not sure if it's the same mold as the Nesthakchen bear or not. I don't think so.

omg, I think it's the same puppy!! aaaa mystery solved at last!!!! I was sooo curious about these when there was a thread about them a few months ago (this one). Glad to have that solved at last!

(Too bad the cat looks to be an exact duplicate of Katie's cat :p on the other hand.. maybe not.. if it was different I'd need to track it down XD)

Should I update those two threads with this information?

The question of Katie's kitty had me doing some (expensive) research.  I was looking for a replacement kitty anyway, since mine had discolored to an almost red tone. There were two auctions on ebay with Katie and Kitty loose and I noticed that the kittens looked to be different shades of color. One auction was from Germany with a hot pink kitty similar to the Sindy kitty. The other auction was from the UK, with a more normal pink kitty.  I bought then, and then managed to track down MOC versions of both.

It does appear there are two different MLP kitties, one from the UK and the other Germany.   I still need to do a side-by-side of the Sindy and German versions in the same photo, but here are some pics to get us started:

UK vs German

Spoiler
UK set left, German right (ponies appear identical, btw):

UK left, German middle, my reddish discolored kitty:

Comparing the loose with the MOC versions
Spoiler
UK MOC & loose.  UK card seems a bit faded and bubble is slightly yellowed, but I think the kitties are from the same color stock.

The bad news is the Sindy kitty is dead-ringer for the German one. So it may not be possible to tell those loose ones apart.

Lol too cool , Hasbro reused or redesigned playsets from companies they bought out, like this Kenner company , G2 ponies were Kenner designed and came under the 2 brands for the first year , Then under Hasbro solely , Hasbro also bought out Galoob , they made My kissing Dragon toys and the dragons had a cool castle :) and then that castle got added some arc /balcony/turrets to make the tower higher /stairs , LOL and voila G2 Royal Castle  :)

I just realised - I got my Kitty from the UK comic as a free gift. She seems darker - How does she compare?

These are all so great! I especially like the Littlest Pet Shop salon and the Kissing Dragon castle!

Can anyone explain these? These are all pictures I have found in catalogues, I only own the MLP counterparts.

First up this house that is the same as the My Little Pony House

Also the accessories on the nightstand in the bottom left corner are the same as those that came with the MLP House.

Next the yellow accessories in this set are identical with some of the accessories that came with Precious

And last this speed boat marketed for boys is the same as the MLP Sailing Boat

I don't know what company is behind these toys or if it's different companies. Does anyone know anything about these? Are they made by Hasbro or did Hasbro use stuff designed by another party?

OMG!!! I had an ad with that castle in it... no wonder the G2 castle looked so familiar!!!

The_Loner- I don't know much about all those baby toys but I would have to assume that Hasbro purchased the company that made them at some point during the acquisition phase.

OMG!!  I definitely remember people coming to the board having found that bunny, wondering if it was a variant of the My Little Bunnies!  So it turns out it was Sindy!   Sindy was produced by Hasbro, so that makes sense . . . Wow, well done, another pony mystery solved.

I remember this too!  I'm glad that mystery is solved, I know I was curious!
Now I want that Sindy doll with the bunny PJs..

   Another kitty release?!    This is just bananas

Is the photo above a scan?   It appears to be similar to the German and Sindy releases I have.  Here's a version with flash and I get that same bright color as yours above:

One thing I hadn't considered is the texture or plastic the Sindy cat is made of.  I'm wondering if it's the same squishiness as the other cats, or if it's a harder, cheaper plastic. My guess is that since it's so similar to the German/UK comic release, it's probably from the same factory batch.
