I bought the weekend ticket. I have been attending since 2009 only missing the 2013.  It's worth the money.

Darn another one I don't think I will be able to go to  :( (wish I hadn't missed it when it was in Brighton :P)
Just a bit too far to travel at the busiest time of year with our orders. Hopefully one year it will be close to Brighton again  ^.^
Always looks like a lot of fun

So Uk PonyCon is now a company rather than a charity? Just wondered what has changed.

There may be a bus from the airport to Bristol, worth checking out, but I would imagine an underground subway (tube) train to London Paddington (changing somewhere from Piccadilly to Bakerloo line) and then the train from Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads.

I got my tickets this weekend thanks to the second wave of tickets that were released. I'm super excited. It will be my first pony event ever. Also, my first time to England. I'm traveling over from Canada :)

Yay :D I'm glad they opened up more tickets. Maybe now some of the other folk let down by the lack of a Pony Fair will be able to make the trip as well. I wonder if they know...it would be amazing to have more people from across the pond making the trip and Ponycon is always a lot of fun :D

I'm sure you'll have a great time. The only issue you might have is luggage going back ;)

Hi everyone,

I only just joined MLPArena but I live in Bristol and am tempted to buy tickets (still some left last time I checked).  But I wanted to ask -- what actually happens at PonyCon UK?

Are there activities & attractions suitable for young children (e.g. face painting, games, media screening) or is it just stalls and quizzes for collectors?  Also, are there any (er, shall we say) unsavoury elements?

I had G1s as a child but am completely new to collecting -- not sure I am a collector actually - more an enthusiast with very enthusiastic 5 year old daughter and 7 year old son!

Thanks awfully

Flicka
Keeping on cantering on.

Hi FlickaFriend!! Welcome to the madhouse ;)

Yup, there's always a couple of things for kids to do :) It is more of a "collector event with things for the kids to do" than a "kid-based event with some stuff for the collectors" (if that makes sense.. I'm terrible at explaining things) but yes kids are welcome at PonyCon :) Others can probably answer that sort of stuff better than me though.

Oh, and no, there isn't anything unsavoury there, that sort of stuff isn't allowed :)

Won't be able to make  :bawl:

I so wanted some stuff  :bawl:

Wish it could of been in Northampton, it would of been better for me.

Bristol is so far away.

A mother pony can be protective of her young just like dogs.

Who wants to changed this sig into ponies?
