We have mostly tulips and pansies in the front flower bed. The lilacs are starting to do their thing. Not sure if my brother is planting his garden out back this year or not.

Ummm weeds sadly. We had a terrible freeze, it killed everything and I am not able to plant a thing.  Sigh It use to be so beautiful out there.

Nothing but cat feces because of the neighbours cats using my flower beds as a litter box!!! :pullhair:
I planted pansies but they never grew, I definately don't have a green thumb...

lol it doesn't sound like it's completely your fault it sounds like the neighborhood cats are trying to kill your garden.

I planted a ton of stuff last year and it looks like only the basil grew back but in very small amounts (like 3 plants).  I was still super excited it grew at all.

Lol I appreciate the vote of confidence, but you are talking to a girl that managed to kill a cactus by over watering it

That's not to say the cats don't have an agenda  ;)

I sure do love to see gardens that are successful and beautiful, it takes alot of patience and dedication, which I'm sadly lacking when it comes to this stuff.

Weeds  :P

Well not entirely.

I do have a massive patch of bleeding hearts that goes bonkers in the back yard every year, and I'm waiting for my Japanese irises to bloom. most of my flowers are summer flowers though (various lillies and tall phlox mostly, and a rather prolific balloon plant)..... hostas are looking ok though.

Well, the weather here has been off and on. One day it's sunny, the next it's snowing. Welcome to Edmonton, yeah? But this year, we have some day lillies in the front, along with the ostrich plants. And our tiny rose bush is coming back. Slowly, but surely. And, as always, the trees in our back yard are budding. It's only a matter of time before the cherry tree bursts with pink flowers. Then the bees. I swear, the tree shakes when the bees are there. You can hear it from my window!
This. Sentence. Is. False! Dontthinkaboutitdontthinkaboutit.

A mess. I planted some nice belleza white a few years ago, along with a lot of cute little succulents. Turns out, they went berserk while I was away for family stuff for three months, and I just haven't gotten around to fixing it. We also have some weird brambly things that keep coming back no matter how many times I rip them out, and a handful of redbacks that really, really like our back door. Oof. At least the jasmine trees are a nice, low-maintenance plant. I just have to trim them back a couple of times a year so they don't block the gate, and all's well.

I plan to wait for the weather to get colder, so all the creepy crawlies are in hibernation, then just rip out all the weeds and start over. The succulents have done well, so I may cut back the weed guard a bit and let them spread out more. We'll see.

I live in an apartment, no garden for me. I'm really not too sad about that, personally. I'm not an outdoor person, especially not outside of winter!

My parents have a garden back home. They work hard on it. I'm sure it got quite flooded yesterday.

My garden always sounds bigger than it is when I write it out.  :P

This year my Concord grapes should do much better as I'm training them to where I an reach easier. There are plenty of figs ripening. Both the raspberry and blackberry canes are flowering. The new strawberries we put in are bountiful. And this morning my youngest saw a peach that had lived through the frost blossom loss. No blueberry blossoms but the bushes survived. We have a couple of watermelon vines to hope work out.

I managed to overwinter flat and curly leaf parsley, sage, fennel (which should get around 9' with how the summer is looking), and lemon balm. This year we're re-adding mints, rosemary (my mom thought it was impossible for anyone to accidentally kill either of those but then there's me ^^;), thymes, and basil. Some other herbs and herb adjacent additions like onions I can't remember right now.

I had some potatoes self seed! I'll try sweet potatoes too. Veggies planted were some peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, and okra. Seed started some mini-pumpkins to replant throughout the garden. I mostly do those for the ability to watch bees fly around drunk as skunks. It's hilarious.
:sunflora: :wine:
Creatively cute and proud of it!  Have a very good day, [you]!  ^.^
