Questions, Rehairs, and Kids

Hey guys--life's beeen nuts lately.  But I'm still here hehe.  So I have a group of friends I roleplay with--one friend and his wife have two kids I've known since they were 2 and 3 years old.  When th girl was 7 or so, I made her a custom pony that she loved. 

She's nearly 12 now, nd when I went there Sunday for game, she came down and showed me a rehair that she was doing!  She's rehairing her with a couple of dollyhair colors...they' found the pony missing a lot of her hair.  (Princess Dawn.)

She even knows about Strawberry Reef.    I was wondering if there was an age limit for being on the arena.  I've already asked her parents if they're cool with it, and their kids basically police themselves online...their parents taught them how to be safe and smart online.  So of course they were fine ith it.

So--age limit for the Arena?    I figure she can get some custom tips here.  C:

Yay! Thats wonderful news that your friend is getting into it.

I believe our minimum age is 14. A church friend of mine turned 14 a couple months ago and i suggested she join the arena but i didn't harp on it and today she told me she is waiting for approval. Woohoo she'll soon be here.

I don't know if they grant exceptions but there is no harm in asking for one just in case. Otherwise your friend has to wait a bit longer. While you may not let anyone else use your account, with parental permission you could take your friend on a tour here with you or maybe print out some information to share.

If that is a hard age limit, I can give the link to her mom or dad and they can make an account...but shall wait for official info!

Yes, 14 is a very firm age limit. Right from the front page:

Sign up today! MLPArena is aimed towards the mature collector, from ages 14 up! Registration takes only a few minutes!

If mom or dad wish to make an account that is fine, but it is their account. Not an account made by them for the daughter to use, as we do not allow sharing of accounts.

Unfortunately they made it harder for non-members to just lurk since you need to be logged in to see pictures and links now.

Do you guys know any good sites that have customization tips that don't require a membership that I can send her way?

There are likely a number of YouTube tutorials as well. That's where I went to figure out how to rehair a G4 princess. It's tricky.
