My last few months of goodies

So I've had a busy start to my collecting year  ;) 

I've had the good and the bad, some long long long awaited set completers finally become mine, and some terrific luck to boot! Thought I'd share a few of my favourite goodies that I've obtained over the last few months :)

To begin with, I was on the hunt for a perfect regular Satin n Lace. I have a serious thing for original pink hair and original curls, and at last she became mine!! My little SnL herd was complete! She was joined not long after by a batch variation in colour SS Satin n Lace. I couldn't decide between the two softies so I've ended keeping both  :blush:

Around the same time, I finally snagged myself a gorgeous Bangles and Hippity Hop to complete my second release set of So Softs! Sooo Sooooft...

Now... I have ALWAYS loved and wanted this set. I found a nice buy now on ebay - grabbed it... and then got utterly nailed by the international shipping, lol! Still, it was worth it. I just love it, and it's nearly complete - all I am missing is Scoops's apron!  My kids have had a ball playing (gently) with this :)

I have recently developed a thing for vintage plushies... they seem to be breeding... I now have five...  :lookround:

I lucked out and got myself a MO Spike! And in the lot was this lovely little curiosity. A membership card (with original sleeve) from the My Little Pony Fan Club! It's in awesome condition!

A lucky win saw me finally complete my Show n Glows :) Got Bright Glow and Happy Glow together. They're so purty  :inlove:  Still need to nab a blue hearts dazzle glow at some point though if I reeeeally want to go nuts on these ponies...

I mentioned a thing about pink hair and curls... This girl I have had for a really long time. She was just perfect except for the fact she had both hers and her childhood owner's name inscribed on her belly. Months of careful sunfading later, I got most of it off and have a beautiful version of one of my favourite ponies :)

These next three are little one offs who I'd been after a while and whom I adore!  Princess Sparkle was always a curio for me. I really wanted to see her in person; got her from the lovely nhal and I couldn't have been happier with her.

Now, these next three get a special mention. I recently had a seriously poos ebay deal go down. I got a good bargain on a lot, but the seller was one of THE worst people I ever dealt with, and to add insult to injury, the majority of ponies arrived in shocking condition that wasn't obvious in the pics. It was a disaster... but all stories can have some happy endings. These three were the best off of the wingers in the lot but still needed A LOT of time and attention to rescue them. Deep cleans and hair straightening later, these three now have a special place in my herd despite their flaws :)

And the best for last  :biggrin: :biggrin:  Talk about a bit of luck... look who I scored altogether on a pretty wicked buy now??!!  Aren't they amazing!! And in perfect condition, too!!  :shocked: :shocked:

And as an extra surprise, when they arrived, this pony was the first one I saw in the box. I was like, HUH? She wasn't in the pics!! The seller had thrown her in!!  :blink: :blink: :blink:  I have wanted this pony for such a long time!!! Her symbol is a little faded but she has cleaned up beautifully. She was the most wonderful surprise. I thanked the seller and they told me they'd forgotten to include her in the pics and just added her to the box!  This parcel with the TAF babies and Stockings arrived a few days after my horror ebay one, and couldn't have been a better mood elevator!!

Everything is amazing! I especially love the TAF babies (one of my all time favorite sets) and your So Softs are just stunning. Congrats on all your new ponies!
