I got my license!

I'm so excited I might burst and I just have to share with everyone, I passed my drivers license test this morning!

I was so jittery but I had an hour lesson beforehand to calm down. I made a few silly mistakes (thank god my test instructor was so nice) but the main thing is that I passed! I couldn't have done it without my driving instructor and my boyfriend, I'm so thankful to them for teaching me all that I know. My boyfriend is looking forward to not having to pick me up from my midnight shifts and is keen to see me off to work alone.

Thanks everyone! I'm going to have to get used to going places on my own, but the fuel I'll save by not having my boyfriend do twice as many trips to come get me will be awesome.

Congrats! I only have a learners that I use for ID purposes, because driving makes me incredibly aggro, and I don't trust myself to not ram someone for being a moron. I can actually drive, but chose not to go down that road. Driving is the only time I'm ever like this, it's like the stupid tolerance switch shorts out when I drive, and our car has a big bullbar, so it's a legitimate concern for others when I'm behind the wheel. My hubby is a professional driver, and I scare him!

I am so jealous of your independence, Brissy public transport prices suck, and midnight work runs would totally suck for your boyfriend! Drive safe!
