I'm pretty sure they aren't MLP. But I'd be curious to know what they do belong to.

A little while ago you could buy them in bags at the dollar spot at Target. I think the bag said Toysmith as the maker. And I think I've seen them in other places too.

They've sold them in a couple different packs, in the Target dollar section - first it was a plastic baggie filled with them, then there was a Valentine's set which came with cards and rubber bands to attach them with! (Personally, I would have LOVED a unicorn valentine like that as a kid!) And recently I saw a 'Jar O' Unicorns' set, which had the usual pink/purple ponies inside, with 5 or so cast in a glow-in-the-dark plastic! I was mildly tempted... @_@;

I actually saw these exact ponies today. They were in something called "ponies in a jar" sold in the discount section of Target.

I was wondering what these were, I bought some ponies from a seller in England and a pink alicorn of these was also in the box.
