Brought Pokemon Ultra Moon from CEX internet on Monday it came today and it doesn’t work on any of my 3DS. So I’ve got to print the invoice out and take that and the game to my local CEX (Wellingborough) to get a replacement Ultra Sun or get a different game that cost the same amount (£30)

I really really want the game Observation but it's $25 on PSN. I do have an 8 dollar balance but still... money is kinda tight right now and I have so many other games I've never played. Part of me is like 'but I've been waiting for thiiiiiiis!' and part of me is 'wait for it to go on saaaaale!' Ugh.

Also, as amazing as it looks I'm kinda afraid it will trigger my vertigo. I couldn't finish Dead Space because of the zero g areas.

@Glitterball, thank you! I am trying, the problem is that it's now currently airing, and I'm almost caught up, and I hate waiting...

I don't know if you've had a root canal before, but honestly, the root canal is generally less bad than the infection or nerve irritation that comes before it. If it's a molar it can hurt more, but its' still ultimately better if it's done properly than having the infection/issue in the tooth. And it sounds like part of it she's already done, if she did a temp filling. So with any luck it will go fine :)

<--root canal veteran now. My nerves hate me. Yes. I get on my own nerves. Sigh. No jokes please.

So my trivial complaint for today...mostly done with my revisions but going through my page numbers and they are all perfect EXCEPT FOR ONE! So I have to now redo the whole PDF because one page number says 210 instead of 226 on the contents page. And I have to redo it at uni because I don't have the software here to edit or grayscale it. So there goes my afternoon tomorrow.

Gaaah.

Oh how ANNOYING for you - just one little error and all the hassle needed to fix it - thank goodness for todays software, though, in the long-run fixing the problem will take a matter of a few minutes, instead of like in the old days, having to hand-type it all again - back in the mid-90s our faculty had just TWO word processing computers for ALL the students, no software training, general dread when it came to submitting written work (but I made-do by borrowing one from my Mum's friend).

So today my tooth seems to be quiet, I had a good nights sleep although I played-safe yesterday evening by eating soft rice pudding and having a protein shake for dinner, to avoid any chewing.

As the dentist was poking about, making me whimper at each touch of the nerve, she told me the antibiotic stuff will gently kill the nerve, allow 24-48 hours for any pain to settle down. Within seconds of finishing-up, I felt my hot nerve pain manifest itself, dentist agreed it was the last throes before the demise of the nerve.

My only worry about the root canal is the fact that my tooth is far back and in a tight space, the x-ray show the roots as straight (so that makes the op less complicated in that respect) but the guy I have been referred to does this op as a speciality so he must know what to do!

Trivial complaint du jour:

being Friday, I usually get a treat for my kid.

Annoyingly, I have run out of new ponies and other ideas of what to get... so either a trip to London for a quick lunch with my best pal (and buying a sneaky pick-a-brick tub at Lego Leicester Sq)
...or...
looks like I will be getting a fourth version of one of those taco wrap, blind-bag soft toys, Cutetitos  ^.^

Ticked off because people are calling Type 1 Diabetes as a disease while it’s not, it’s a condition. Even my dad isn’t happy with the news reporter on ITV News calling it a disease.

I can relate to this. The number of times I've seen people call autism a learning difficulty or a mental health problem when it's a developmental disorder and neither of the above...*shakes head*

People like to be ignorant about things that don't affect them, and don't bother to inform themselves until it affects them directly.

@Glitterball - glad your tooth is doing better. The way back teeth are worse but if you have a specialist and straight roots, then hopefully it will be straightforward!

And the contents page now says 226 :P

I can't really remember what PCs my uni had between 2000 and 2003 when I did my first degree, but yeah, the options are way different now :) Thank goodness as well that there are ways around manual footnoting now o.o. I was never good at that.

Yesterday I got a letter from the doctor I've been seing at the pain clinic about my headache. I've been meeting her, a physiotherapist and a psychologist and the letter state what they've come up with about me and how to proceed with the investigation and what treatment I shall undergo. It's a copy of the letter they sent to my gp so it's full of medical terms I don't understand.

But the complaint is not about that, it's that I sat in a room with all three of them where they explained all of this to me in person, the letter is just a reminder, and not once did they mention ptsd. Yet it says so in the letter. I can live with that diagnosis, it never occured to me that the trauma I experienced as a child affected me like this as a grown up and I am glad that their examination of my head gave more than I could've asked for. I just wish they could have told me instead of me finding out in a letter while I'm home alone a friday evening.. It is a lot to digest and I have slept badly.

My boyfriend's ex keeps sending me really nasty messages on Facebook. Half of me is laughing at how immature she is and the other is getting quite angry at it now...

I'm irritated because I can't draw anymore. :pout: I used to draw a lot when I was younger, and I did it quite well. Not great, but good enough to be satisfied. Now I can't do it anymore. I'm rusty and my hands are much shakier than a couple of years ago. I know I should just practise, but I get discouraged easily. I only want to draw when I'm inspired anyway. >_<

A major bookstore's website used to let you look up in store inventory from the website without having to type the store you wanted to search every time. Now you must tell the website what location you want to search for each time and for each item you want to see if it is in stock. Why did they have to make their website more complicated? So if I am looking for the next volume in a book series I have to go to each title's  page and tell the website  the location I want to search.

My university again making things stupidly complicated.

I am owed some rebate on my fees.

They seem to be trying to make it as difficult as possible to actually pay this rebate.

Sigh.

Insomnia, fourth night in a row. :( It’s about three in the morning here, and I can’t sleep, even though I feel exhausted. It’s like a bad caffeine hangover... except I don’t drink caffeine. Blah. I’m going to have to take a sleep aid at this rate, and those tend to make me groggy for DAYS...
