Blerghhh I hate having a cold - sneezing and snuffling etc.

Started on Thursday, eased off on Friday, back with extra venom yesterday. Snuffling a bit today but hoping that it's all recovery from now on. I have gym at 6am tomorrow and don't want to get into the habit of cancelling... I must have caught the cold from someone there as they have all had it recently.

Upside: clocks have changed here in the UK, so in fact my 6am gym will feel more like 7am - waking up early won't be as painful

We made a change in how we do something almost two years ago and people are still doing it wrong.  Their excuse: "We haven't been doing it that way very long so I forget."

REALLY????????

The problem is that when they do it wrong, it makes twice as much work for me and then they act like I'm being unreasonable to expect them to do something simple.  The change is: If there's no check mark on the paper, leave the sticker off and I will put it on after I complete the task the check mark is for.  Is that so *&^*%^%$#@$^&* hard?!?!?!?!  When they put the sticker on, I then have to remove the sticker, fix the damage caused by removing the sticker, scan the paperwork (because there can't be a sticker on it!), print a new sticker and reaffix the sticker.

It isn't rocket science.  I've asked nicely multiple times.  I'm about 2 seconds away from printing up instruction slips in every language available on Google Translate and posting them around the work area so they can't be missed.  It may be passive-aggressive but asking directly has yielded no change so I think treating them like the morons they are is the next step.

I have the same problem in reverse. My touchpad is misfiring, so I was using a mouse but it died and because my PC deletes its bluetooth drive often, I have to use an attached USB keyboard with touchpad to get full function. Also because certain of my keys keep going dead on me. Today it is g and f that are taking extra hard hits to get functioning...sigh. I wanted this PC to survive my whole PhD but it is really falling apart :/ It's only four years old :( and it has already had its keyboard replaced once.

Ignore the above.. yesterday started with a snowstorm followed by pouring rain so I had to bike through slush to get home. This has frozen over night so the road is covered in ice. It's still october!

I think I ate something off last night as I don't feel all that great this morning (but I was totally fine yesterday).  I hope I can convince my co-workers to let me stay in back at least for a while this morning so I can dash to the restroom if necessary.

Why don't the yogurt companies make more mutlipacks of single serve yogurt cups? My favorite yogurt flavor is peach but no major company in the US seems to sell it in a multipack by itself. It's always packaged with another flavor I don't want yet if I was wanting vanilla. cherry or strawberry  I can always find a multipack pack of those. That means if I want my favorite flavor of yogurt I have to be the induvial packages.

I really want some chocolate but I do not have any chocolate. I specifically wanted some chocolate eyeballs from Sainsburys, but they'd sold out. They do have chocolate snowballs which are literally the same thing, just with different foil on them, but that is entirely beside the point. It needed to be eyeballs! Chocolate eyeballs are the best thing ever!!!

I have a latex allergy. My family is aware of this but several times yesterday I had to remind them about it when they wanted me to handle latex balloons. This morning a family member put a latex balloon directly on my drinking glass (no harm intended I’m sure they just forgot) meaning I had to get a new glass. How many times do I have to remind them?

Ugh purchased a PS1 memory card as one of my games I play is a PS1 game but I use my PS2 to play it and I was sick of restarting it over and over every time I turned my PS2 on.
The one I bought was from a big batch of memory cards and I was hoping to get an official one and I didn't. My PS2 Slim won't recognise the card because apparently Slim PS2s can only recognise official Sony memory cards  :pout:

Edit: Found out that the PS2 slim made slight changes to the pins in the memory card slot to block out 3rd party cards

All of my calls at work tonight have been exceptionally weird, I feel like I’m in the twilight zone right now. It’s not even a full moon, so I can’t blame it on that!
