Urrggh, it was so hot last night I couldn't sleep. And I normally sleep like a hibernating bear.
At least it's pretty much the weekend now, so I can stay up 'til Ridiculous O'clock playing video games and not have to worry about getting up for work in the morning. Silver linings and all that.

Hehe, I'm just waiting for the floods and rainstorms in September, a heatwave at Christmas and snow flurries in April next year...

Where I live that already happens! This last April it snowed and actually accumulated. One year it was 30C on the day after Christmas. And rainstorms in September? Very common.

Snow at Easter or in April in the UK actually isn't that unusual either...nor are rainstorms in September (and unfortunately flooding is becoming more common these days) but you win on the 30C around Christmas ;)

All the news reports are saying that the heat increase is partly due to the reduction of green space (there are city authorities looking at this at the moment). So not only does concreting up the world cause flooding, it's also cooking us. So much for plants not mattering.

I've been getting pretty good at 3D puzzles. I got 2 new ones yesterday and decided to put both together today. When I was finishing the 2nd one several pieces fell off and I can't find them even though I've looked on the floor and got a flashlight trying to find the missing pieces.

If they are Wrebbit puzzles, and the pieces don't show, you can order replacement pieces for free.

Thanks Kiwi.  :)  They're made be Bepuzzled/University Games but I looked at their FAQs and it looks like they also replace missing pieces for free. I still haven't found them.

Now that you mention it, their identical twin sisters were in the room when the pieces dissapeared but how did they manage to hid them and sneak back in to their packages without me noticing? :what:

I discovered a webforum where all anyone does is complain about YouTube quasi celebrities and call them SJWs.  And it's kind of ruined my evening.

That and the fact that they're rebooting ALF.

Just found out we bridesmaids are supposed to wear burgundy to my sister's wedding. This sucks as:
1. Last I knew it was burgundy OR navy Blue
2. I look HORRID in burgundy
3. so I bought a navy blue dress.
4. Bought it on Ebay so I can't return it so I'm out $30 + money to buy a stupid burgundy dress I will NEVER wear again.

What makes me even more grumpy is I know another sister has been subtly pushing for burgundy and when (yet another) sister brought up the fact I'm not a fan of that color (see above reason) she said "well it's (sister's) wedding, she can choose what she wants!" This sister looks awesome in burgundy so of course she wants to go with that one! (this is the same sister that wanted us to wear yellow for her wedding. NONE of us look good in that color). ARGH!!!

Edit: Yes, i know it's my sister wedding and therefore her choice and I will wear what color she wants; I just wish that someone had thought to let me know esp. since I am very plus sized so it's hard finding decent, affordable dresses to begin with :(

Woke up at 6 in the morning to the sound of workers on the roof. We'd be warned that there would be workers on the roof, but I had no idea that they'd start working at 6 in the morning. Can't they at least wait until 8 or 9? =/

I'm trying to get better with eating healthier foods but I keep falling back on eating wayy too much protein.

I think I know of the forum you're talking about, or at least one of the variants of it. Good bedtime reading if I want to get angry at the internet.  :P

I have such terrible issues with anger.

I can’t let myself feel angry at anyone ( even only internally ) without feeling guilty and bad for it. :(

Is too much protein a bad thing?
