Stay strong, Minty_Magic! I'm one of those people who think that it's much better to find a tattoo artist whose work you love and get it done well at the first try, even if it means paying more than for example your friends did. There are so many styles in tattoos that it's good to know what *you* want and go for it.

It's not enough that I have to deal with a runny nose due to pollenseason, keeping tissuepaper close at hand at all times, I also have to have a pimple inside my nosstril witch itches like crazy and everytime something touches my nose it feels like I've been punched.

I have gone through that a few times its the pits.

I made some iced peppermint tea because it's oppressively hot today and it's made me feel a bit iffy. I thought mint was meant to settle your stomach, if anything. :/

Hm... I drink a peppermint and spearmint combo tea all of the time, but have never tried it iced before. Somehow the thought of drinking it cold just makes me feel uneasy thinking about it. 

Ooh, peppermint and spearmint sounds nice, I'll have to keep an eye out for it! But yes, after this experience, it's definitely hot tea all the way from now on.

My feet are freezing cold, but I'm too tired to stand up and walk all the way to the kitchen to put on the kettle for a hot water bottle.  IT'S JUST TOO HARD.

My exams start on Monday and I'm no where near ready. What I mean by no where near ready is that, I have 5 days to catch up on over 300 pages of work. And that's just for one subject.

If I could go back to 2015, I would have never of left school. Serves me right for having a hair wrap.

Yeah. It's awful success stories like these that kill my self-esteem all the time. I just have no excuse to be lousy at anything, AT ALL. Because there's always someone without arms/legs/eyes/brains out there who does amazing things.

I'm so fed up, I've been paid incorrectly again and I'm owed 8hrs pay...
I don't know why they can't get it right, and each time I question it they act like I'm wasting their time and it's not their mistake!

Temperature tomorrow is going to be 77, I work outside, and I dont have enough potting soil for my new pot.

We're going to have to run the mile tomorrow in 90 degree heat. Plus I have asthma and there is a crap ton of pollen in the air and I can only take two puffs of my inhaler in 4 hours. I'm going to be coughing by the end of it. Then right after that I have a 300 point presentation. Yay!

Well, I can't paint.  I am totally lousy at it.  I can't even paint a wall.  Now if they guy down the street can paint an entire mural for his wall with two toes more power to him.  If I can't paint with my fingers, I certainly will never paint with my toes, belly button or teeth.  It isn't my talent.  Hugs

I think a lot of people with disabilities are fed up with being seen as inspirational just because they find a way to get on with their lives regardless, but the media will lap up those stories anyway...

My trivial complaints for the day.

I have been on a roll typing up my notes from my text this last couple of weeks, but today my brain just won't focus on writing up all the wonderful aspects of the dead Emperor Takakura. Amusingly my speech recognition software used to transcribe Takakura as Coca Cola, so now I think of him fondly as the Emperor Coca Cola. Unfortunately that doesn't help me write up notes about how wonderful he was. Give me a battle scene to write up any day. They're so much more fun.

My ear is annoying me again. I am rather worried my new shampoo is affecting it. It's so annoying having sensitive skin and sensitive everything and not being able to use products because of it. It costs a small fortune.

Life is generally exhausting. I realised that pretty much every aspect of my life is exhausting and yet I don't intend on giving up any of them. But next year has so many questions hanging over it that it's really annoying me. I have my tribunal still to settle, I'm waiting on the stupid DSA people to actually give me an update on that (it's been 6 months, it was meant to be within 20 days), I don't know where I'm living, if I have funding, whether I am teaching, if I need to get a job, whether I'm getting writing up status...or anything yet.


Also, ignorance is the ultimate rudeness.
