I am a wee bit nervous about starting a new job with horrible hours on Wednesday.

The day before, I have an interview for an even better job. I am hoping I get that one, and hence more nervousness about getting this one instead.

Ugh public transport...

I drive everywhere because it takes up less of my day and I don't have to sit next to rude, sweary people who don't cover their mouths when they cough...

I had a hospital appointment at 4pm today in the town centre - there is NO space to park so I took the bus... the timetable just happening to be at the point where they are every half hour instead of every 10 mins - grouch #1

The hospital appointment was fast, friendly, straight-forward and done within 10 minutes.

Walked in the dark to get the bus home - gah, just missed it! grouch #2

Popped into a shop to kill some time for the next bus... eventually one came along but it was the one that did a very windy route - got on it anyway 'cos I was freezing grouch #3

got to the precinct a mile away from my house so hopped off to walk the rest home in the cold and dark - was happy to have worn my scarf and leather gloves, brrr too cold grouch #4

got home and lightheartedly said to my husband that it would have been nice if he had given me a lift home - only to be snapped at to be told that it was my fault for not taking the car in the first place?  sheesh. grouch #5

Anyway, just made my dinner - and not his -

The A&W restaurant near my work just took 20 minutes to make an order of chicken strips.  Since they made my milkshake as soon as I ordered, it was completely melted.  Because they took so long, I don't get to eat my lunch before I go back to work.  That is the first time I've ever left a review on Google because the service was so terrible and I was so annoyed by it.

I really regret taking a 9AM class

Bought some furniture at IKEA today - 3 mini wardrobes - however, they only had 2 sets of doors to go on them... bought them anyway, the rest is supposed to be in-stock in December though 

Anyway, went to another store to buy some faceted crystal knobs to put on the other 2 sets of doors - they look lovely

Dominos messed up my order yesterday. Was too tired and ill to cook so thought it'd be quick and easy to send my sister out to get it. She was back right at 6pm when I wanted to eat, so I congratulated myself on my perfect timing. Next second I was opening a box to a mighty meaty instead of the veggie one I'd ordered (and was listed on it's label). Of course the other one had meat on it too so had to ring the store send sis back to go get the right one. Took 45 minutes and by that time my sister's were dried out from being in the oven, she didn't mind having two though and didn't complain.

I picked up some nice metallic twigs, pinecones and woven wooden hearts to liven up the kitchen a bit and they look really nice but I will literally be hoovering up glitter for the next century now. They've shed everywhere.

Since I've started couponing I just ran out of space in all of my cupboards.  I'm going to be banned from buying cereal. I never knew how much you could save couponing.

Cold one day hot the next, rinse and repeat. I am sick of this.  Let's get some freedom from summer.
