I just had an attack of sleepy brain and managed to forget what year it is. I was checking the expiry date on a coupon in my purse and somehow thought that 2017 was last year. I did not catch or fix this mistake until grumbling about my 'expired' coupon to my boyfriend an hour later. The moment I told him I realized how much I messed up. Cost me 10% off at the site I was shopping at. That's why it's best not to do big orders at 4 a.m., I guess.

Bought a chocolate bar today and it melted before I could get it home, we're talking completely liquid. Fortunately it was in a completely sealed wrapper so it didn't leak all over.  It didn't harden at all on its own so I stuck it in the fridge.  Now I have to wait...

*lol* Something similar happened to me when my mum sent me several large chocolate bars in my birthday parcel. The chocolate was almost liquid when the parcel arrived. When it hardened, one chocolate bar was very thin on one end and almost twice the normal size on the other end. It looked very funny, but still tasted great.

My trivial complaint is that I wish it were just a little bit warmer. For the last couple of weeks, we've mostly had that weird in-between weather when it's too cold to wear a t-shirt only, but too warm to wear a coat. It would be so much more enjoyable if it were just one or two degrees warmer.

Watched the leaked Game of Thrones (I never normally do, but there were spoilers so in-your-face that I couldn't even go on the youtube homepage without the entire plot instantly spoiled).  Have to wait 10 days instead of 7.  Longest 10 days of my life.

Wasn't too thrilled that a jerk-face nearly ran me over as I was crossing (in a crosswalk, I might add) the street yesterday. Came within about 2 or 3 feet of hitting me, or maybe less - cause I had to move fast. Thanks, buddy. Love you too.

I painted some boxes and used them in a display at the library where I work.  Someone wants to buy at least one and I have no idea what to charge for them.  How's that for a trivial problem?

For the past couple days, my housemate and I have been trying to one-up each other by putting an action figure of Isaac Clarke in funny places and positions around the house. This afternoon, I set him in a really chilled out position on top of a skull in the living room (leaning back with his hands behind his head and everything), housemate came back from work, saw it and didn't even chuckle. Honestly, where is his sense of humour?!

What's going on with PicMonkey, seriously!? I can hardly do any precise work anymore, because the cursor is leading its own life now? It's not my computer, because it's only with PicMonkey that I have this problem. What the...?

This coming week starts with 109F tomorrow and only gets worse, nearly every day but one is above 100F. Not looking forward to it.Come on fall weather! Fall is my favorite season and I'm really looking forward to it this year.

Ugh...my work just hired someone I can't stand.  He's been a volunteer for years but whatever dead thing it is he rolls in every morning gives me migraines so I hate being around him.  Now I'll be forced to tolerate his stench and his laziness.
