^ The mermaid thing hasn't quite hit us over here yet I don't think, but yeah I've noticed the overabundance of unicorn stuff in shops lately too! It's weird o-O I mean, I like unicorns as much as the next person but I wonder why they're the 'in thing' all of a sudden.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! You would think that the supply would be massive because of popular demand. Instead, it seems to be the other way around; they are shoving unicorns and mermaids down our throat and we WILL like it...

Do not like being grumpy in the morning. I have been having a hard time falling asleep which means a hard time waking up on time. Already not a morning person but skipping showers and breakfast to make it to work on time makes me grumpier.

I've been doing really good at exercising and losing weight so I thought I would reward myself with buying new jeans.  The stupid fashion industry has once again resized women's pants so I am technically still in the same size even though I've lost three inches off my hips.    I know they resized them because there were some older jeans on clearance and the smaller sizes fit me and were the same measurement as the larger sizes in the new jeans. 

I'm going to start buying men's clothes because women's clothes are getting stupider and stupider.

I heard my kid singing and only heard a few notes but it conjures up a song that I can't quite remember when trying to think of it. Hopefully it'll come to me before I forget that I was trying to remember it. I do that so much now, try to remember something and when I can't, forget it completely till something else makes it swim up in my mind when it doesn't matter anymore.

I'm sick of being sick! I get bronchitis every summer due to hot, humid days, but this year it's BAD. I've been sick on and off since May, and I've had ENOUGH. Please, bring me the autumn already!

That massive mermaid/unicorn hype. Seriously, what IS IT with that!? I like that stuff just as much as the next idiot, I have unicorn bedding and a mermaid tail blanket, but I don't now, it's so... extreme? It's starting to irk me.

It's not just the themed stuff everywhere, but on basically every site now (looking at you, Primark) it's like they want us to forget that we're actually human! Look, I get the whole idea about hiding from the big bad world, wallowing in a fantasy world. I like that too. But I am NOT freaking unicorn, or a mermaid!

Seriously, get a grip...

I find the sudden unicorn hype annoying too as well as the 'emoji' hype. I hate that word. I will always call them emotes or emoticons. Anyway, it's bad enough having merchandise of the crap emote but in Jewelry at work, I found a plush bank that was a rainbow colored crap emote >< I think it's supposed to be unicorn crap too because everything rainbow is unicorn related lately also because in the back to school display, there was a backpack that has a unicorn on it as well as that stupid rainbow crap emote. It's all so stupid.

Wow, that's really bad. Who wants that? And yes, "emoji", UGH! To me they will always be emoticons too, or smileys. Either I'm getting old, or the world is moving very fast...

Yeah, well brace yourselves because when I went to see Cars 3 there was a trailer for "The Emoji Movie".

I don't mind a smiley but I cringe almost every time I see a certain popular one on almost everything. I don't understand why it is so popular. I also have no interest in the Emoji movie.
