My Nik Kershaw vinyl used to always skip a groove on the "Dancing Girls" track and I thought that there must be some particle stuck in there that I would have to dislodge with a toothpick, but today I played it again and it looks like the problem just solved itself because for the first time the song played fine.

I had meetings all day and wasn't able to get enough time to make dinner, so my flatmate made me dinner and even made me a little snack to have during the meeting!! It was so sweet of her  :lovey:

I'm finally going to begin to get vaccinated this Friday. It's a little bit of a drive, but that's okay.

My parents finally got their first round of the vaccine...I will be able to breathe a lot easier in a few weeks knowing they are safe.

I don't like shopping for clothes because I have a hard time finding things that I like that fit.  Usually something I really like doesn't fit. I've also had store employees tell me that I'm the wrong size to be shopping in the stores.

I needed some new jeans and there's one store that has great quality jeans that last a long time and fit me well.  The employee was super nice and helpful today.  She kept brining me more jeans to try on and if a pair didn't fit she took them away and brought another pair.

I've already got my tax return. :money: I think you get it back faster if you file early.

The thing that made me smile today was some superbly tasty ginger preserve. I was originally intending to use it in a cake, but I'm short on flour at the moment, so I tried some on toast, just to satisfy my curiosity, and ooh, it is good.

A sneaky snake was in one of my plants outside. It didn't appreciate getting wet and popped out of the pot. I think it was a rat snake, maybe a cornsnake? I put him in the hedges.

A few things made me smile today. The main one is just the fact that the sun's out; it's an absolutely beautiful day today! The bluebells are coming up in the front garden and they appear to be making a comeback in the back garden as well, which is great as they're my favourite flowers. I have also finally found a pear cider that tastes good, i.e. tastes of pears as opposed to sugar and weird chemicals - thank goodness! That was my reward for braving the post office in order to pay the council tax. I've had a rough week trying to keep on top of my anxiety and the post office was thankfully a painless experience. Now the rest of the day is mine to enjoy in peace. :relaxed:

I'm just really grateful to all the people who have shown support for me through everything awful that I'm facing. Not just here, but on Facebook and other sites. I'm really surprised too. I have friends I didn't know I had :) People I've never expected to hear it from have told me they love me. It's a nice feeling :hearts:
