It's never easy getting yourself to do that "Big Project TM". I mean today I got so distracted by writer's prompt Reddit I only got three or four paragraphs of my "Big Project TM" done but hey it's better than none right??? Just a little each day & it will be finished!!!

That's very true! I've been learning to get into the mindset of treating the act of working on a project as an achievement recently, rather than just considering the whole finished project as an achievement, it's been a huge help with motivation!
And congratulations on the end of your Skylight Saga!

There have been plenty of things for me to smile about today. My job interview went alright and they'll let me know the outcome on Monday. Stopping by the charity shop for a chat and to let everyone know I'd be in tomorrow was a pleasure, the people there are a bundle of absolute stars. And when I got home, there was grail mail! Heart Throb has arrived and after much searching, I have finally gotten the Kitty In My Pocket set with Debbie and her kittens, which was the first set of kitties I remember getting as a kid. Now, I have a cup of tea and some lovely Viscount biscuits. Mmm.

This dapper chap made me smile today, more so as someone came and bought him, so he has a loving home! Unfortunately, his new owner didn't want the flat cap, he just wanted the Charmander.

And one of my fellow volunteers gave me a wolf! Probably actually meant to be a husky, but I'm strategically interpreting this toy as a wolf, as they resemble a character in a story I'm writing.

I walked home from town (2 miles) on my own.

Which may not seem like a big deal, but for me it is because of my navigation.

It also rounds off 8 miles walking in the last few days. At least I can still do that, even if there's literally nothing else I can do safely right now because of covid.
