And Taffeta, LOVING your new avatar!!!

It had to be done. ;)

I did think about getting Dash and Minty out of the wardrobe and having the three of them, but then realised it would be hard to promote social distancing and keep them in the same frame. Plus it's harder to get the plushes back in the wardrobe than getting them out, they tend to fall on me if I mess with them too much.

They're the only BAB plushes I have. Sunset has special priveleges though.

While sorting through donations today, I encountered a wig with a bright yellow bra attached to it. Stay classy, Macclesfield.
(Suffice to say that was not put out for sale in the shop!)

Got woken up at 5am by the kiddo who wanted me to go downstairs with her to watch a movie (she didn't want to be alone) so I browsed Ebay while Wreck It Ralph was on...

...saw a listing for a fountain pen, new in packet. The photo showed it as pink yet the title/description said it was black; as it was a certain limited edition pen that I have been after AND it was a BIN at a bargain price, AND it was only just listed, I chanced it and bought it, then sent a message afterwards asking the seller to clarify; yippee it WAS pink so that was a great bit of luck and my girl will have a pretty pen for school!

Have arranged to meet up and purchase a lot of 40 ponies and accessories from someone on Facebook marketplace, and I spotted a few harder to find ponies in there. I’ve never purchased off Facebook, so I am excited! My sister seems to be worried it’s a scam, but I am a responsible adult who knows what to do! I’m sure it will be fine, and I am excited to meet the seller on Friday!

My first day of college was today, and I was really anxious about it, but all of my classmates and professors so far are just as nerdy and weird as I am, so maybe school won't be so bad.

Best of luck to you! :cheer:

What made me smile today was having a bat about on Resident Evil 4, although it did made me feel old, as the last time I played it was way back in secondary school, on that mysterious ancient relic known as the Gamecube (ah, memories.) I still find the combat quite challenging, but my philosophy is that thoughtful inventory and resource management is the true path to success.
I will continue to tell myself that until Leon is summarily trousered by angry Ganados. ;)

^ RE4 is a classic! I still play it on my Cube once in a while. I think they're going to remake it like the other early RE games.

What made me ecstatic is the movers are coming on Tuesday!!! :cheer:  :cheer:

It's taken two solid months to get all my stuff packed and my furniture ready, but I'll finally be moved in soon! Yay!

Congratulations! Have fun in your new home!

As luck would have it, I saw an article about the upcoming RE4 remake the other day. Very exciting indeed! The visuals on the original are still great, but I can't wait to see what the new version will look like! :D

Thank you! I go in for training tomorrow morning. :good: It'll be my first time working in a cafe.

The Gamecube is one of my favorite systems; it had some solid titles.<3 (I grew up with a GC-compatible Wii; my childhood was spent on Metroid Prime, Spyro, and Fire Emblem.)

ETA: Huge congrats, BlackCurtains! Hope the move-in goes smoothly. :)

Thanks, all!! I'm really excited!

Congrats, Pheasant!

My smile today was my cat waking me up by gently pawing my face and purring  She hasn't done that in a while.

was invited to my friend's house today (we have been social bubbling with their household) as she now has a cute wee puppy!

The little scamp growled at me after I playfully sparred with him - oops - I forget he is so young! But soon he got used to me and fell asleep in my arms.

Boy, he passed some very stinky wind!  :X :toot:
