Went on a trip to a pretty town near us and my husband + daughter found a G1 Blossom, wearing a pink saddle, for £1 in a charity shop! 
I thought my pony senses were tingling this morning...

Home for a break, and my sister is also home this weekend too! Family reunion, and for once in a while I have no pressing work to do!

And Dad is cooking <3. (My Dad is an awesome cook).

My uncle is a little bit...eccentric sometimes. And he doesn't always remember my sister and I have birthdays. But I came home today to find that he has bought me a birthday present this year...it's a small patio sakura! My birthday isn't for a couple of weeks yet, but I am only home this week so Dad gave it to me now.

I had a sakura for my birthday last year. It was a baby and it survived the winter weather but it died unexpectedly while I was away in Jerusalem in May . I was really broken hearted over it, because I loved that little cherry and wanted it to flourish. I get super attached to my plants, so this new sakura makes me super happy. I've told it already it has to grow strong and survive and flower beautifully in the spring <3.

Met up with a friend that I haven't seen for nearly a year now, it was so nice to see him again and it was such a nice day.
Also had a decision with my father about vinyl records and blasted 80's tunes in the car which was super fun

Odyssey Into the Mind's Eye. It's 90s cgi animation and prog rock and I love it with a passion! Oh, and it's got golden dolphins swimming through space. Heck, that's all I need!

Got a couple e-mails about arranging viewings for flats! It's nice to finally get the ball rolling so I can get outta this place!

Found out I only have to work 8 hours this week and none of it is actual teaching.

The semi truck behind me this morning kept a good following distance which made me feel better because the road had icy patches on it and was nerve-wracking enough to drive on without someone on my tail.  And because he was behind me, nobody else could ride my tail this morning, either.

Started the process of applying to rent a house today! And it's in a nice, quiet part of town too!

I had to hand out flyers for 4 hours today in below freezing temps, outside an elementary school. Next to us was some kind of music school and they were jammin to English songs. They though it was funny when I started singing along to We Will Rock you. They had a drum set so I am assuing it was a school that teaches you the drums?

I've been feeling really good within myself lately. I've been doing lots of exercise, aqua aerobics and clubasize to help me drop a dress size for my holiday in July. I've felt it was time for a change as I've always felt awkward wearing swimsuits and sleeveless clothes on holiday due to how my body looked and how I felt on the inside about it. So I've given myself a kick in the butt and began turning my life around and getting fit. I've honestly been feeling a lot more energised and happier lately

My friend took me ten pin bowling which was funny, because both of us are terrible bowlers.  We ended up having curry before that and playing games at the arcade. It felt good to do something and he made me laugh with some of his comments when we were bowling (they are not really appropriate for here lol)

I sat on the toiltet and my husband came in with his minisynth and started playing on it.. First time ever I got to pee to live music Afterwards we stood in the hallway and played together on it. It was fun, I love jamming with him but it happens so rarely.

So, as my kid is not the greatest at sports, I decided this weekend to buy her a soccer ball and some plastic cones.
Today, in this glorious spring sunshine, I mowed the back lawn and her little football pitch was ready!

We had fun after school kicking the ball against the garage wall and doing dribbles around the cones and some simple tackling.

Her confidence has grown in just 1 afternoon, so I am looking forward to repeating this exercise, daily, weather-permitting, to see her improve on her skills and feel happy playing sports!
