I guess this is kind of a mean thing to smile about, but a very unpopular Norwegian politician lost her job today because she said something extremely rude and tactless (again). I'm just grateful for living in a country where tactless politicians lose their job, rather than one where they become president...

One of the cats started acting weird today and I had to take him to the vet. He had urinary stones and it was worse than initially thought. Anyway, the smile is for my boss. When I called and told him I would be late because of the vet visit he said I should take my time. When I called him again letting him know I would be at least three hours late he said it was fine. When I learnt the cat would be there longer I asked if I could come in and work a couple of hours and then go get the cat and take him home and come back to work afterwards. Not only was my boss ok with that, he said I didn't even need to clock out, but should get paid, despite not being there. He has a cat himself so I think he gets it. But still. My boss is awesome (Cat is home btw, drowsy from painkillers and antibiotics but he has eaten and seems fine. Boyfriend was home when I brought him back so he has not been alone)

I tried the new Crystal Ball frappucinno from Starbucks after work and i really enjoyed it. Mind you i figured I would considering I really like peach.

I also am a part of a board gaming group that meets up every Thursday night that I am looking forward to.

This next week is spring break, and I have a feeling I am finally going to get my shiny Rowlet! I have only been hunting a few hours only on weekends, especially since I have had to do homework, so now I can just sit down and hunt.

It's finally warm enough that I can have my window open at night without freezing to death. I've really missed the fresh air

I was teaching a drawing class and today we drew a unicorn, so I brought my 4DE Twilight plush. When some kids finished and didn't have anything [non-destructive] to do, I pulled out my Twi and let them play with her. I had to tell them, "Twilight Sparkle gets motion sickness very easily, so she doesn't like to run around. She might get a headache." So one boy started cradling her and protecting her, because he didn't want Twilight to get sick
