Are ponies from China real??

I ordered some of the pearlized brushables from China. The seller says they are Hasbro but they don't have the diamond mark on the bottom of their front leg. I ordered Sapphire Joy, Meadow Flower. Other than that they look identical to the packaged ones. Any help would be appreciated.

It depends on how you define 'real'.

Authorized by Hasbro?  Then no.  Stuff direct from China gets produced and sold without Hasbro's consent.  Material-wise, they're as good/bad as the stuff you'll get at retail most of the time.   Comes from the same point of origin after all.

As far as I know, if they look retail-quality, they are factory rejects rather than fakies.

I think they are just unauthorised rather than being factory rejects.  Mine don't seem to have any flaws.

Due to a goof up, I got two sets of these.  They are nice quality and have the hasbro stamp on their foot, so to me it doesn't make any difference.  I don't like the heart on their leg anyway.  (One set is up for sale now on my website).
