Need confirmation on G1 Love Petals hair color

Hi everyone

So I have this really nice G1 Love petal that needs a rehair.  Both sites I checked say her hair is a match for Dollyhair's Wisteria.  This one is definitely not Wisteria.  The color is actually an exact match to one of the colors on the G4 Princess Celestia.  I'm wondering if this pony is an anomaly or if she possible has been rehaired before (although, there's a bit of tail rust and i'd think that washer would have been replaced with something that doesn't rust before).  Or is her hair not Wisteria? I', attaching some photos of Love Petal next to a Wisteria tail (from Lemon Drop).  She doesn't match any of the ponies I have that have Wisteria.

Any input would be appreciated!

I think her hair is supposed to be Bougainvillea or Brambleberry. Both colors have more of that red-purple.

There are sometimes errors in online hair color match guides.  I have not seen this pony in person, but I have used DH Wisteria colored hair, and the photos of Love Petal don't look to me like they have Wisteria-colored hair.

Yes I believe her hair is original,  her hair is one of the oddities for the g1 line as she was made in the later years and so got newer hair, in my experience quite a few ponies in the later years don't have an exact hair or if they do it can be matched to ponies in the g2, g3 years. These are uk examples but I know the purple for bon bon and music time have no match

I just checked mine and she's not a match for any of my ponies with Wisteria hair either.  I did find that she's pretty close to the purple stripe in Baby Pineapple's hair which according to Dollyhair's site should be Mulberry Crush (the other sites previously linked either don't list her purple stripe or have it as unconfirmed).

ahh yes this would make sense too breyer since I think they where released in the same year

maybe brambleberry or sugarplum or ultrsviolet ? she maybe a hard one to match.

I'd order a swatch of Mulberry Crush, I think it matches best.
