What's your favourite season?

Winter. No bugs and allergies are manageable. Plus I love to shovel snow.

Spring. I am one of those people whose brain reactivates when the clocks change in March. I am a winter baby but hate winter - though at this time of the year the UK starts to brighten up a bit. UK seasons are usually quite messed up and blur into one another, but you usually get some sun and pretty flowers and stuff in the spring. Summer can be hot or it can be a lot of rain, depending on where you are. Summer in London is often horrible. Autumn is fine when the leaves are pretty and until the clocks change. After that it's downhill to darkness and winter. My most hated months are November and January, my most loved probably April and May...maybe June.

So spring for me Am excited to see spring here in Japan this year. Already lots of plum blossoms around - waiting for the sakura!

Officially fall, but unofficially whatever season it is. perhaps it's my locale but I think spring is overrated. We wait and wait and wait and wait and wait, it's muddy and dreary and then we get a nice week and then it's summer full blast already. Winter doesn't even try to hide that it sucks and I love fresh snow.

I prefer Spring. The nature is most Beautiful and you know you have a wonderful time in front of you.
The Energy comes back after a long Winter and it´s my Birthday. : )

I'd say fall. I love the pretty colors and cool (but not too cold) temperatures.

I agree! Spring is hyped as the end of winter and cold but in reality, where I live it's cold til summer.

I mean, it's not actually "cold" because I live in southern California, but it's usually too chilly for me to wear shorts until July.

At least with winter, it's understood that it'll probably be cold.

Autumn's my favourite. Blue skies, spectacular colours, a peak time for bird-watching, & the relief of cooler temperatures after the unbearable summer heat.  x_x 
Our sunsets are always the most beautiful in September & October. I also LOVE it when the clocks go forward; many people think I'm nuts, but I've always loved that period when it gets dark ridiculously early. It just feels so cosy & appealing to me.

Winter's my second favourite, but now it's almost tied with Spring: birdsong at its peak, seeing the first migrant species arriving, the breeding season, primroses, bluebells & all the other beautiful flowers bursting into life, wild garlic growing in the woods. I heard the first Chiffchaff yesterday & it's put me in such a good mood.
I wouldn't say I hate summer, but I dread the heatwaves every year. I'd much rather be too cold than too hot. Plus it's the quietest time of year for birding, & the busiest & noisiest for people.

I like Spring but I think Autumn is my favourite.  I can't do the heat and winter never ends here so I don't love that.  It doesn't hurt that my birthday's in October and Christmas is on it's way.
