Hello there, nice to meet y'all! I was never much into My Little Pony and yet here I am

I was always a bit of a collector though (I blame Kinder Surprise eggs for that one). My first memories of MLP are pretty vague as it felt too 'girly'. Our family was also too poor to get original toys and those were seen around here as one of those exclusive toys kids would get.

A few years back I got around to watching Friendship is Magic and I've gotten a bit into the show. I also bought my first pony - brushable Applejack and a couple of blind bags. But that fascination did not last long. Now I'm in a difficult place in life, full of sadness and dark thoughts. I was looking through a garage sale and saw a guy selling three generation 3 ponies. My eyes were immediately grabbed by the pretty colors. I can't really afford to get anything right now but after walking away and having the toys on my mind all day, I did end up going back and getting myself Bashful Bonnet, Flower Wishes and a name on leg Pinkie Pie.

Those 3, Applejack and a thrifted G1 Wind Whistler are now bringing colors into the gray reality I've found myself in and I'd love to welcome more pony friends as time goes on.

Great thinking - and so true! Drawing can be so relaxing, no matter what level you believe yourself to be.
