Let's discuss the NY Toy Fair

So it's two weeks till the New York Toy Fair ( Feb. 18-21).  Is anyone else excited?  I always look forward to seeing what new ponies are coming out.

I hope to see which mini figure theme will be next after the Rarity sets.  Will it be Rainbow Dash or Fluttershy?  Will it have a theme like the Nightmare Nights one?


What do you hope to see?  What do you expect to see?

I'm really excited too! I can't wait to see what big playset we're gonna get this year. Maybe there's a new castle in the movie?
I hope we also get more new reboot brushables with new characters, from the movie or not!!

And more cute plush and GOH sets!

Yep, I'm excited! I hope to see more reboot stuff, I've got my fingers crossed for Fashion Styles in new designs but figure it's quite unlikely. I also hope to see more Guardians of Harmony stuff, none of it has turned up in stores down here yet... even so it's fun to see what's new.

I'm kinda bummed since my NY connection is now my roommate.  Which means...obviously he won't be going to the fair this year.  He was always good for letting me know what was there.  I do like seeing what is new, even though I haven't been super excited to pick things up like I once was.

Not too excited sad to say. I don't have an interest in the story packs but I'm sure we'll see some of those as well as more of the GoH lines and the reboot lines. Right now I'm just wishing for really good non-G4 based fakies

Also, because I'm looking at MLP Merch atm, We'll likely see the K'Nex spinoff...

But this brings a question for me... What happened to the figures from Loyal Subjects?

Meh, can't say I'm too excited. I don't like 4.5 or GoH so there's not much pony left for me. I hope I end up pleasantly surprised but I don't really expect to be ):

Hopefully there'll be some non-reboot ponies, or at least they'll have figured out how to make their faces better. Some more fashion styles would be neat.

I can't wait to see what's coming.  I like some of the GoH and the EqG mini figures.  Hoping to see an EqG mini Luna. I also really like the closed-mouth new-mold ponies, so it would be nice to see some more of those, too.

honestly I agree with this completely. The G4.5 poses look weird and I don't like how they have unpainted tongues and I also don't care for GOH because most of them look angry or have opened mouths. I'm also not into statues like the GOH fan series cause I have nowhere to put them. The only thing I like is the plushies.

I haven't heard anything about them in some time.  I wonder if they decided they didn't have enough interest.

I'm not completely sold on the new style brushables but part of that is because I already own every one of the characters released thus far at least 4 times over.  I just can't bring myself to buy them again.  That's why I'm hoping for brand new characters.
