EAG International Exhibition and London Toy Fair 2017 Photos
« on: January 28, 2017, 12:30:25 PM »
Here's a link to my annual slideshow of pictures from the EAG International and London Toy Fair.  Sadly, it is not of such good quality as in previous years - there was far less pony stuff at the EAG this year and I only got to the Toy Fair half an hour before it closed when all of the stallholders were already packing up.  Also, Hasbro weren't exhibiting at the Toy Fair again.

Still I photographed what I could in the little time I had.  Enjoy!

lol I like that it's all fakies at the start. I was beginning to wonder if Rick Astley was going to start playing! XD

Ooo, love those Pac Man plushies. AND OMG! GIANT FREDDY ARM! -wiggles happily-

....I wonder what a Shaker Maker is... -scratches head-

I got super excited when I saw the MLP Movie logo! Sad that the plushies next to it just looked like normal plushies we've already seen...
Thank you Thimble for my amazingly cute avatar!

Ha ha, sorry, I probably shouldn't put the EAG photos first every year.  It's a trade show for the amusement arcade industry so it's mostly amusement machines but also prizes for claw machines, bingo etc.  Hence all the fakies (and occasional authentic plushies!)

Shaker Maker is a kind of model-making craft kit.  It comes with powder which you mix with water and put into a mould, then "shake" it until it sets.  I had one when I was a kid but failed dismally at making the model, took the mould apart and the wet powder crumbled (obviously I hadn't shaken it for long enough!)  Never tried again! :P
