How long does shipping from UK to US take?

A friend sent me a gift today and I'd love to know if anyone has an idea how long packages are taking to arrive from the UK to the US on average right now? I know customs can mess things up but with how horrible our winter has been I'd really like to have an idea. With all the ice/snow its unsafe/impossible to check the mail lately but I don't want it sitting out for too long in the cold! It was more than likely sent the cheapest way possible, no tracking or anything, and is in a box if that matters.

Shipping from the UK to the USA can take anywhere from 5-25 working days. This all depends if there are any delays on route, strikes, weather conditions & National/WorldWide Holidays or Custom Checks (occasionally it can take longer especially as USPS is not one of the most reliable postage companies)

We do find most USA orders we(mum & me) send arrive to our customers around the 5th-15th working days. (last few weeks they have been arriving around the 5th-9th working days) We only send with Tracking/Signature confirmation which can sometimes be slightly quicker than Standard International Shipping.

So maybe around the 7th-10th working day... just a guess judging by our recent orders to the USA

I was lucky and got most of mine within a week!

Depends on the courier you use, on an average for lower cost couriers my items arrived within 10 days
ups is 48 hours hope that helps.

Its hit n miss as always with international shipping, especially when the weather is a factor. I've sent and received ponies from the US in as little as 3 days even on the cheap method... but the usual is 2 -4 weeks.  Your parcel can arrive anywhere in between less than a week to up to around 6 weeks or more on occasions. Usually within 4 weeks though

Apparently they supposedly "tried" to deliver her on the 30th, but I have my doubts they tried very hard :/ They didn't even bother to leave one of the notes so we had no idea. My friend ended up calling around, worrying about where the package was, and found her. Thankfully since she's at USPS we have some time to pick her up. Getting there before they close is really difficult >.<
