oh oh i have another one but kind specific to my town:
You know its Spring/Summer or a warm weather day, in Oakley when the town smells like dog poo/cow poo...
its not dog poo but fermenting/rotting corn.......  winter is really the only time this town doesn't smell like it.

It's crazy, but Oklahoma is becoming like that, too. Back in 2011 we had a foot of snow and the temperatures were like -20 F that morning and my college did not close. Now my (now former) college and all schools around close at 20 F with just an inch of snow on the ground.

I have to wonder what happened. 2011 and before we used to at least get one decent snowstorm of 6 inches or so. Ever since we have barely gotten an inch every year and now people act like it was always that way, like we're Florida and can't operate if a single snowflake comes out of the sky.
