I have this girl that I got off of eBay years ago from someone who's significant other worked for Hasbro or something like that lol.

-gaaaaasp- I love them!! They're beautiful! I need more pegasus ponies and blue ponies, so naturally im quite drawn to these.
Thank you! The one on the left and in the second picture by herself is the prototype, unreleased version, or whatever you want to call her. The other one is the mass produced silver glow and I'm sure you can find her :)

Whoaaa So pretty!

Does anyone have pictures of the original G3 ponies images that were released years ago before G3 came out? Those were so cool and if I remember correctly were pearly and much different from the actual releases. Would be cooler if anyone had one of those prototypes

Here's a stock photo for Abracadabra, who was released in a totally different pose than this. I wonder why they changed their minds?

This carriage pony was never released. Instead we got a rerelease of Sno-Glo.

And here are my symbolless Pinkie Pie and Candy Apple in their boxes. Sorry the photo quality is so horrible.

I so remember that Carriage pony! Such a shame she didn't get released.

I was trying to find the original images of G3 ponies but I found this (not my image):

I remember seeing this sneak peek from toyfair back in the day. :D

The unreleased Awareness pony came in 2 versions, first version clearly a test run. The later version just didn't get released in the end. :) (I have one MIB though)

I have longed for that carriage pony since she was first seen. I so wish that prototype could surface! (And I don't really collect G3's)

Funny, they also changed their minds about her sister, Pumpkin Tart - she was released with a purple tail although the proto pic shows it in pink and orange.

Oh, and the proto has a bell attached to her ribbon too!

Good catch! I didn't even notice that. I wonder how many other g3s have subtle differences in their stock photos vs official releases?

That one ended up with Stormy, didn't she? But I read she sold her to Ember.

No I have the clear glitter belle... She's more shimmery silver rather than clear from the tons of silver glitter put into her plastic.
Apparently she was the inspiration behind the genie project. The original art was designed with magenta hair like her.

I have a MIP eyeless, symbol-less Puzzlemint.

**I took her the MLP Fair at Hasbro years ago and one of the guys there who had worked on them said she was probably a test pony
