Etsy!

Buy extra white, because you start off with that, then add the color to it on top. (White is always the cheapest! I used up a chunk of colors when I started-- which was a waste)

Don't buy from China. X_x; That stuff felts TERRIBLY.

And some stores still carry needle felting stuff but... now the selection is small or gone. :/ I've gotten it from michael's and hobby lobby in the past... but now I usually buy from people who hand dye on etsy/ebay.

I was thinking about Etsy for my roving!  :D  I'm having an awful time finding the needles locally so I will need to buy them online.  Is Clover a good brand?  It's got good ratings on Amazon but I am WAY out of my depth on this one.

I love the clover brand!

For the needles, I haven't really noticed too much of a difference between the brands. Things like the Clover felting mat and the 3 needle pen are good investments.

Clover is a good brand and their praise is for a reason. :)
Back when I needle felted I bought wool from Etsy sellers. It was ages ago, though, so I don't know if the shops I used are still working.

If you want some cheap roving for practice and don't mind a bit of work you can make your own by clipping some 4-6 inch pieces of chunky yarn, unwinding the pieces into the component threads, then using a couple of boar bristle brushes to fluff it out. I got my needles from Joanns.
Creatively cute and proud of it!  Have a very good day, [you]!  ^.^

I'm making custom cute pony plushies and have set up an Etsy store called Ponies A'More! Ponies + More + LOVE! :inlove:
Finally got my SALES thread up and update it as I can.  :satisfied:
Lastly, posting my Wishlist here!
