As a tribute to her, I'd like to post this song. I was named after it, for it was on a record that my folks had and listened to from time to time. I also first saw the movie a few months ago. A simple but charming song for a simple but charming movie. Rest in peace.

Did you see that Carrie's urn was a Prozac pill?! What a great sense of humor she had! We cried when she and Debbie passed!

I rarely cry over a celebrity death, but dammm 2016 was brutal! I cried When Bowie died, and Prince. When Carrie died and then when her wonderful mom who I loved in the Halloweentown series died a day later I just lost it.  2016 felt like being beaten with a stick every single day.

She was so amazing.  She was really kick-ass as Princess Leia, changed the way women were portrayed in movies at the time.  She became an amazing advocate for mental illness.  Because of her bravery the world has changed the way it looks at mental health.  She JDGAF what anyone thought, did and said exactly what she felt like.  It was way too soon.
