New ponies, so excited! UPDATE: more new ponies :)

I popped into Big W today and just about squealed when I found the new design G4 ponies on the shelf. I got one of each because their poses are so cute. Unfortunately they weren't in the system yet and had no price tag, so when I went to pay the staff had trouble. I've had this happen before but I've never had it take so long, it took them more than 10 minutes to look up the ponies on their computer and let me pay.

But oh well, they're having a condition right now and I can't wait to display them! (In my very limited space)

UPDATE: More new ponies! Mr Toys Toyworld had these for $17 each. I only got Pinkie because of the price as I thought she has the cutest accessories.

I've never had one of those Cabbage Patch Crimp n' Curl ponies so I can't say if they're similar. Their hair is waxy and stuffed into two slits, but it's not all waxy, some strands are clean wool. I was debating going back for the other two if I really liked Pinkie... I don't know about these ones (I'm just imagining the cat hair getting stuck to her mane already)

Another Update...

Okay, I had to show off the hairstyle I gave her... because it took so long! The back of the box has this written "Results vary with child's age and skill level", oh boy!

Each time I got a curler in place and started the next one the previous one started to droop from the weight. These pics also show the ratio of waxed/clean wool hair. I think this gimmick would have worked way better on a FS sized pony and I'd love to see the new designs in that size!

Overall as much as I would have liked to get all three I'm glad I stuck to just Pinkie (my rule is generally 'If I'm only getting one, get Pinkie to represent MLP')

Awesome!! I wonder who the first person will be to find them in the US!! I don't really care for these molds, but I just hope that they don't conpletely replace the old brushables.

Oh my goodness!they look amazing. I just hope this isn't going to be the standard brushable, but they look great for display!

I really like the bold new poses they are putting out (more so then they jointed ponies). I think that's one of the best Twilight sparkles I've seen and Pinkie is always adorable.

Me and some friends saw all but Lyra at target today! Luckily they were the last available and it was one of each of the Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Teilight figures. I gotta find Lyra and the rest sometime!! Good job on finding them all four!!!

Personally, my favorite pose of them is Twilight's. Her wings are also so lovely.

I'm excited to see if the closed mouth ones will be making it past prototyping, because I love the dynamic poses and I think they'll be so great for customs
