Country on sales...

Is there any way of putting the country on sales threads please? I don't know like giving an extra option so you can label your thread as UK, US, EU or whatever? It's hard to look through the threads and find UK sales, and also looking through a thread, wanting a pony and finding they only ship with the US!

This would be really useful, maybe thread icons like the G1-G4 that people can pick from with a variety of countries or regions?
Some people put their country in the thread title, but it is disheartening to find a sales thread with a pony you'd love to buy... Then you read the fine print of 'US only'.

Maybe if we can go the icon route we could do a globe for international shipping and then country flags for others?

I think a globe icon would be great!  I usually have so much to put in my titles I don't want to waste space saying "worldwide shipping" or whatever.  Individual country flags would be nice too for those that don't ship outside their own country.

This so much! I try not to get too disheartened with US only, or UK only sales, but often it's easier to just search ebay AU, rather than scrolling through post after post and finding domestic shipping only on all the ponies I want! Something in the title really helps us buyers out. Sometimes we waste so much time reading posts we can't buy from we give up before we get to stuff we can buy. Worldwide shippers advertise!

There's also been more of swing towards domestic only shipping because of changes in different country shipping processes and rates and so on, apparently. But I agree that it would help to know.

I'm determined to keep shipping internationally, but it's hard to get all those words into your title as well as make people want to click your thread.

Flag is a bit contentious, though. I would avoid that. Especially since some people have specific shipping (ie International except Italy because of customs forms, US and Canada but nowhere else, EU only, etc). I mean you can use the EU flag for the last one of these, but if you used an EU flag for European shipping, that automatically implies you don't ship to Norway and Switzerland, although if you were going to ship to Europe as a continent, you'd ship there too. (And to any other European non EU countries, and that will ultimately include the UK too). In short, flags are confusing. Especially in European terms. Let's keep it simpler than that.

I totally agree with finding a way to advertise where you will ship in the title of the thread. It actually became a bigger issue on the MH forum, where nobody bothers and about 1 in twenty threads ship internationally - so I gave up even looking. Pony forum isn't so bad, but I imagine that how awkward it is depends on your location in the world...

yeah this has happened to me many times, I cant complain much since I live in the US, but it would definitely help everyone who lives in different countries.
