The Thing's one of my favourites too! Give me old-school special effects over CGI any day of the week.
Also on my list are The Fly (1986 remake), Black Christmas (1974 original), Se7en, Psycho & Bambi.

did anyone like Dr. Strange? The movie isn't on the top of my list, but i thought that it was pretty good. I just got the little Funko keychain, and its so adorable

I think I'm more of a tv-serie person.
I can't really decide on one favorite movie but what comes to mind right now is "Watership Down" from 1978, It's a classic. I also love the book. Not for the faint of heart though.

I'm also a fan of marvel movies like X-men.

Call me weird but the movie I absolutly love is the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Know all the songs and most of the lines

Stardust (2007). I really, really love that movie (always been a sucker for fantasy). It's one of the few films I can watch over and over again.

I have poor taste so my ultimate favorite is Resident Evil xD

I also love Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Coraline, Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd, The Little Prince (the one with Gene Wilder and the new one), and White Bird in a Blizzard.
