My hubby LOVES Christmas, so he does a light display, and I give him directions and hand the lights to him and stuff... it's beautiful. Our whole front yard has lights zig-zagging across, like a pretty light canopy, as well as the front fence and the trees out front. It's not the biggest display in the world, or the best, but it's nice, and I love the part of hubby that considers it an absolute must, even if just one other person gets enjoyment from it, he's happy.

I can't really put up lights outside due to living in an apartment, but I saw one person has tried. I wonder how long that will last. lol

The inside of my apartment is somewhat decorated - a lit garland over my desk, a lit garland of the same type over my kitchen cabinets, a small string of battery lights on my keyboard (piano), a little lit tree on my dining table and another larger tree.

I bought some pink lights and some red and green lights but have no idea what to do with them, sadly.

EDIT: No, I just found the perfect place for the pink lights. My dad put up some hangers to extend a cord over my bathroom, which I made a little colorful and pink, so yay.

Tried the red and green lights because I found a place for them, but only half of them are working. T.T

We have a nice light display, with a manger scene, lights around some of the trees and walls, etc., and, this year, the reindeer I've been wanting ^.^ He's so darn cute. He's not like the usual lighted reindeer -- he's made out of sparkly white material that looks nice even in the daytime. He of course lights up at night. Lol, I'm gushing about a yard decoration, but I've wanted a reindeer for a long time and I like it so much :)

I bought a large blue spruce wreath for about £5 and changed up the tacky ornaments for some other leaves, berries and flowers.  I'm pleased with it.  That's about as far as I go.

We put up lights and stuff.its just a tradition of ours. Also, our neighbourhood is full of elderly people, and they like seeing a little cheer.

Never really decorated the outside of the house because there's no outdoor plugins for cords. I did decorate my railroad signals for a few years (I run extension cords out to their power supplies), but got tired of doing it. I did try it this year with my "wig wag (banner swings back and forth)" RR crossing signal (did it to the crossing gate behind it one year also):

We live in an apartment... so we just have a 6 foot tree with lights on it, which is fine. :) I wouldn't mind being able to put some up on our balcony though.
