Deck the halls
« on: December 10, 2016, 06:09:30 AM »
:holiday:

I live in a rented townhouse, so I don't really do any outdoor decorating. I suppose I could put a string of lights around the edge of the window, thought. Maybe I'll plan to do that next year. :)

Apartment for us so no lights either.

When we move I'd love to decorate our bedroom with some string lights. It would be so pretty!

My favorite thing we're doing outside is a string of lights around one of the pine trees in the front yard. What makes it neat is that the lights reflect into the rooms of our home and look like glistening green, white and red stars are swirling and shattering against the ceilings and walls. Since mini tree doesn't have lights, this display kinda makes up for it.

Nah, we've never done it, for whatever reason. It doesn't really appeal to me anyway, haha.

We do put up lights inside, though ^^

We live in a tiny flat so there's not really room. If we had a house we'd probably put some lights and decorations up

It's not really wise to have outdoor decorations down my neck of the woods, because the specific street I live on is right at the bottom of some steep hills, so it gets hammered by the wind - one year we had an entire fence blow down in the back garden! I did consider putting some indoor decorations up this year but laziness got the better of me. I may pick up some nice fairy lights to bring some festive pizzazz to the place, though - it's not too late to make some kind of effort! XD

I just have my Christmas tree up with a few strings of lights :)  We just moved into a house and currently dont really have outdoor decorations (we rented for years until now)
I play World of Warcraft -WAY- too much.
after fifteen -THOUSAND- posts, I now haunt the Arena woodwork

We hang a few lights inside the house, but that's it.
They: You're too old to watch that show!

I have a string of light on my balcony as we live in an apartment. I'm too lazy to take it down afterwards so it's up 365 days a year. It's rather discreet tho so none notice it until I turn it on, which I do in November already as it's pretty dark from 2 pm and then it's on 24/7 until the middle of Febryary when the sun starts to come back. It's nice this time of year as almost everyone does so. It's so warm and welcoming coming into the neighbourhood with all the lights from everyones balconies :).

We had lights up a few years ago, but it's been a while since we decorated the outside of the house. It doesn't help that we have no outlets on the front of our house...
