After months and months of searching, I have finally found a pony in a charity shop, and it was Sunset Shimmer! But there's a slight problem with her... (and I'm nearly 100% certain it's Sunset)

She came with this dress on, and I didn't think to take it off before I bought her:

It turns out, this is what her cutie mark looks like:

I'm going to leave her dress on, or I might take off what's left of it and keep her as an "adult blank flank" but I wish I was skilled enough to give her cutie mark back.
Though imagine if she isn't actually Sunset Shimmer and she's another yellow unicorn with a red cutie mark. Now that would be interesting!

Congrats on your find! Personally, I'd keep the smeared mark and rename her something like Blazing Fire or Wildfire. lol

it looks like someone took nail polish (not acetone) and tried to take the cutie mark off for some reason.

you could always paint a different cutie mark on her, congrats on finding her with a dress tho  ;)

Maybe they wanted to use her as custom bait or something but messed up the cutie mark and just started again. I'd be interested to know where the dress came from, as I don't think she's had any releases with clothes?

Yeah, if only the smudging went all the way down her leg, then it might look quite good

That's a shame about her cutie mark. She is still a lovely pony though and will display nicely in her dress if you can't retouch her symbol :D

Thanks for finding that, and I love little Star Dreams! I knew it was an MLP dress as it fits her perfectly
