Beware of gail2748 on eBay

So, I bid on this lot of 6 ponies. No big deal. An hour before they were set to end, the seller, gail2748, sends me a message saying that the shipping cost is going to be double than what is set in the auction (in which case I would not have bid) and will have to charge me that extra if I win. I inform her that you cannot change that once a bid has been placed and I would contact eBay if they go against their policy.

Anyway, I win and promptly pay. The seller "ships" the item out fairly quickly, which surprised me. Today, I get a prompt that my package is delivered, yet I didn't receive a package in the mail. So, I check the tracking. It says delivered to Marietta GA. Problem is,  I live in Ohio, not Georgia. So, I called up eBay and opened up a request through them. I let them know exactly what happened. The seller has until the 15th to respond and get the package to me. They responded today with, "it's been delivered." And I, of course, responded back with, "I live in Ohio, not Georgia."

Avoid this person at all costs. They are a nightmare and would-be a scammer if you aren't paying attention.

Darn, that sounds like a big problem. Does the seller have any negative feedback?

I only checked in the past year and they have a neutral because they overcharged someone shipping by over $6 and refused to refund them. I didn't look through the positive feedback to see if anyone left anything that looked like they were somewhat unhappy.

So the seller responds again, saying sorry they put in the wrong tracking number and give me a tracking number. Guess what? It's the same number that shows delivery to Marietta, Georgia. I'm so sick of this seller. Is it Dec. 15 yet?

That's a nightmare! I have had problems like this before on eBay, and i am not really finding anymore deals for G1 pony lots there, what other site do you recommend? I live in Europe so it has to have international shipping.

No, the seller is from Oklahoma but sells a few items. I can only think they either 1. Did give me the wrong tracking information and keep doing so unintentionally. Or 2. Are giving me one of their other buyer's tracking info with a hope that I won't check it so they can say it's delivered and it's on me that I don't have it and are keeping the item.

I'm really hoping for option #1. Judging by their feedback, it's #1. They have a negative more than a year ago because they didn't package their dolls very well and they were smashed upon arrival and a neutral for overcharging shipping but otherwise have very positive feedback and I will leave them positive with dinged stars if I receive my package. I'm just having a frustrating experience with this seller. And if you want to avoid frustration, do avoid them.

UPDATE: OK, good news. They gave me yet another tracking number. This one shows a package in Ohio! Yay! This seller would save a lot of headaches and money if they would print their labels online using eBay or USPS. I'm guessing they do this the old-fashioned way and actually take a trip to the post office.

I wish I could still print labels. I no longer have a working computer or printer so the pain of making trips is annoying
