Ummm think again CustomsRfun.  You can be fined up to 2500 per egg and with customs forms you will be found out.  It is never a good idea to break the law no matter how silly we think the law is.  Think about what you are doing to the person you are sending them to also.  They will be fined as well.  That really isn't a very nice thing to do to someone.  If someone sent me a kinder egg and they were caught I would also pay that fine. I don't have that kind of money at all.  This is not something that I think people should take lightly.

Also regarding the choking.  They have had reports of children choking on these and ending up nearly dying. I have read these reports but it has bee a while.  A child can do anything.  Remember all children are like super heroes.  What they can do to themselves in a short amount of time with an impossible item to have the most improbable outcome is amazing.  Ask er doctors.  They will be the first to tell you.  Big mouth, big nose, everything.  Children will stick something just about any place they like. LOL   They choke, they fly off, they are squashed, they bounce off of things that just should not happen.  In fact to the normal human mind of reason it is impossible, yet the child just did it right before your eyes...or rather in a blink of the eye which for a child is eternity. ^.^

CustomsRFun, I would suggest breaking the egg open and just sending the toy capsule.   :)   I had Kinder Eggs a couple times when I was visiting Canada and the chocolate is not that great anyway.  Let's face it, people really want the toy, lol.

I hope they do become legal. I always thought it was silly beyond the choking hazard.
When I lived in german we would send them back to the us all the time.
Mostly though we bought cases for DnD parties and used the figures in our game. I even have a whole happy hippo star wars set I collected.
I thought I saw them at world market last week. Ill have to go back and look.

This is exactly what I did when they had TsumTsum chocolate eggs here earlier this year, took the capsules out of the egg and sent them to friends.  No issues with that :)

Ive been seeing those, the Pokémon Furuta ones, the cheap hello kitty ones, amd Yowie ALL over the place! I love little tiny toys inside chocolate eggs, glad to see they are making a comeback!

I found these just yesterday at a small international candy store in Frisco, TX! I bought two but these are for the boys Christmas stocking stuffers so I cant open them!  :P they were $8 each but I got too excited and caught up in the moment I caved! xD

YES OMG so true! The short time I lived in MN we would take our passport cards and drive to Canada for some cool non-US treats! We were warned NOT to try to bring them back across the border with the chocolate covering the toy, just open and eat the chocolate before we left but still keep the toy. There is indeed a HUGE fine if you try to bring them back into the US unwrapped with the chocolate surrounding the capsule! The border patrol may actually even search your car which sounds silly but its true!
