Mo Hollywood - MIP questions

Hi!

I have another flutter question for the experts around  I got Hollywood in the mail yesterday, and her hair was tied with a tiny plastic hairband in the ends as to keep it from tangling. It got me wondering how she was styled and packaged in the bag - was anything in there to keep the hair from getting messy?

I didn't get Hollywood as a kid and I've never see one MIP, so this is just speculation.  But I don't think so, based on how other MOs were packaged.  Her wings would've probably been in a separate little baggie, but her hair was probably just wrapped around her body within the plastic package.

Usually G1 ponies had a plastic sleeve around their head to keep their mane in place.  I think a lot of regular MOCs / MIBs had this as well as "mint in baggies".    The longer portion of Hollywood's mane was probably wrapped around her body or tucked between her front legs.

Agree on plastic wrap / tuck.
Elastics don't usually survive 20+ years, they turn brittle and fall apart.
