Hello, my name is Christina. I'm 32 years old, I have a 7 month old baby named Faine and my husband is Brock.
I started collecting ponies in earnest very recently. I had collected ponies in 2003 but my collection was thrown away by my ex.
I collect because they're beautiful and I love breathing new life into them. I love purchasing a lot and cleaning them and conditioning they're hair. It's awesome to bring them back to their former glory. I collect mostly G1 but have a few of the G2 and G3. I recently grew more fond of the G3 but love my G1. So well made in my opinion. My husband isn't thrilled but supportive.
Anyhow, I wanted to connect with other collectors! No one close to me really wants to discuss ponies! I'll post some pics of my mlp...thank you for reading and I look forward to getting to know you all  :biggrin:

Welcome. What lovely name your daughter has I think it made our list initially. Hopefully you can get back some of the ponies your ex got rid of

Thank you for the warm welcome. My son does have a pretty name ;). It means joyous! I actually found one of the ponies my ex tossed on ebay. Going to purchase it soon! I really am glad I found this forum!

Hello and welcome! :) If you are looking for a place to talk about ponies, you've definitely found it. G1 and G3 are my favorites, too. Sorry to hear about your initial herd. :hug: Having supportive loved ones makes collecting a lot easier, that's for sure. But being part of a community that shares your passion can help, too. And if ponies are your thing, you're definitely in the right place. :)

So sad to hear what your ex did  :shocked:  - how mean! I hope you re-establish your new herd soon :)

It is so satisfying finding a sorry-looking pony and breathing new life into them with a make-over. My faves are the G1s too!  :biggrin:
