It finally happened.

After literally hundreds of mini fig beheadings, I stabbed myself a good one with my xacto knife.

oh wow make sure you take care of yourself  The worst Ive done was cut open my palm while pulling off a dirty parasol. thankfully the cut wasnt too deep. I freak out when I cut myself now because when I was little I tried pulling out a doll from a glass bottle. The bottle was broken open. :/  (I also had stitches because of that my thumb doesn't look the same as the other thumb its got a bump on it.) Even now, I have come very close to hurting myself with an xacto knife.

I still have a scar on my left index finger from taking off a G1's head with an xacto. It bled for almost an hour...

Yikes, sounds awful! I haven't cut myself with x-acto knife lately but it always results in a blood bath.

ouch i've done that when cutting cardboard for my 3D creative thinking class.  mom yelled cause I was cutting towards me, so i did it the 'proper' way and promptly split my thumb open yay for left handed people needing to do things backwards

I totally do that too, although I'm right handed and for the life of me cannot control the blade when cutting away from me.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that's had a X-acto attack....I stabbed myself in the chest and was wearing a white tank top at the time, it looked like I got shot    Still have no idea how I missed the pony completely and got myself in the chest, I must have been distracted or something   Oooh, another fun one is when you break the big doll air threading needle when rooting and stab yourself with that, not pretty

At least it sounds like its all part and paar for the course in pony customing.
It looks tons better today. I had some superglue (for pony heads) so after it stopped most of the bleeding I superglued it. Hubby was at work so no way was I calling an ambulance for2-3 stitches and explaining how I did it. We only have one car. Totally looks great, almost like a cat scratch.

This reminds me of my disbelief in the story of the Tin Woodsman, who chopped off his various parts and then his body by mistake.

That skepticism was eroded when I clocked myself in the head with an axe...there is always a way!

I've chopped, sliced, sliced off, stabbed, snipped and torn all sorts of parts many with xactos and one notable five inch long tear with a relatively blunt object, but none of them were customizing ponies, which is how you know I am new.
