I hope  the "My Roommate is a Cat" release is  DVD/Blu Ray combo pack so I can watch it. I don't own a Blu Ray player.

I went to a store called Dragon Home today and was surprised that they a lot of anime things including a plush Totoro and Catbus and  a nice sized Your Name flag/poster with Taki and Mitsuha.

The first half of the new Fruit Baskets is on Hulu I watched the first 2 episodes and I already love the new series.

The only criticism I have so far is I wish Yuki and Shigure wouldn't talk over each other at times. It's hard to hear both of their lines when they're talking at the same time.

I'm watching the dubbed episodes. Hulu has a lot subbed anime but  they only have the dubbed episodes for the new Fruits Basket.  I'm glad that Yuki and Shigure don't continue to talk over each other in the later episodes. I have to get used to Tohru calling Yuki "Sohma" instead of Yuki.

Yuki seems more deeply troubled in the new anime.

I'm happy that that episode made it in to the first season.

Wow 62 episodes? That's a lot more than I was thinking there would be.

No worries Taffeta. I know real life can get pretty busy.

Not going to spoil too much since I don't know if anyone else is watching currently, but the most recent two episodes of the MDZS donghua have been...odd. I can understand their need to change things for it to stand out as an adaption, but what I do find to be very strange is the way they changed it. The plot almost seemed to like...derail? Also it seems they were trying to give Wen Ning (Wei WuXian's undead best bud) more of a role but they didn't really succeed, and it just felt like a failed attempt to replace Lan WangJi's role in the scene. In addition to that, they've cut out like three or four funny scenes in these recent episodes, which is kind of a shame because it takes some if the levity out of it. Wei WuXian's supposed to be a cheerful, goofy character, and he's almost being turned into a more serious, jaded character without any of the humor to balance him out.

I'm not sure how to feel about it all to be honest. I'll reserve judgment until I see how it plays out I guess?

First here's four Di Gi Charat anthology manga. These contain many short stories by various mangaka (including Koge-Donbo* of course). I should probably buy them in English sometime so I can actually read them. Nice to have them regardless though.

This is my favorite of not only this package, but all three I compiled here tbh. This girl was a grail of mine. So, this is Tamae Nishikiori (Tama-tan), the main character in Koge-Donbo*'s manga "Doki Doki! Tama-tan". I haven't read it, it wasn't ever officially translated (I think a fan translation exists, though?). I want to own every official Koge-Donbo* scale figure someday, and this girl is the first I've managed to get my hands on! I won her for only about 20 USD! This is the alternate version of her, this is what the normal one looks like, still need to get this one:

Oh, and I guess this sort of counts too, since I spent money for it. I've begun supporting Koge-Donbo* on Pixiv Fanbox! It's kind of like Patreon in that you pay a certain amount every month and you get perks out of it. She puts out physical magazines and merchandise through it so I figured it'd be worth doing it for that (and to see exclusive artwork she posts there). Signed up on a package forwarding service so I can the physical stuff! Very excited about that!

Season 1 of Furuba remake is finished. At the very end it said that season 2 would be in 2020 sometime, so we hope for another spring release and not a later one :/

The last ep tied up a few things from the week before, it was nicely done. But dammit...

I found a site that had some of this translated but it only goes up to where demon man jumps into a bottomless pit and then catches the god after he was tossed in, or fell in? Not sure how accurately it is translated though...

Recently watched the 2003 Full Metal Alchemist on Netflix. We thought Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood was a continuation until we saw that the release year was 2010 or something like that and that the episode plots sounded like what we had just finished watching. I had never watched it before and really enjoyed it. Watching Naruto with my husband right now which is another one I never watched while it was airing. I find Naruto's voice to be abrasive sometimes but it's pretty good so far.
