How do you gut a secret surprise pony?!

So I am about t start on a super fun project except I have already hit a roadblock...I can't seem to get this bait prepped! How do I get her head off and get to her tail!! thanks!

I'm afraid I can't help but I'll be cheeky and stalk your thread as I've got two saddleless baits myself that I've waited about three years to get the courage to customize!

I've just tracked down one of my baits, didn't know I had accesss to her tail already (must have bought her like that). As far as I can see the only way you're going to be able to get to her tail is to cut out the inside of the saddle. The jewelry box part. You'll have to be extremely careful, you can cut yourself badly with a craft knife - you'd be surprised. Can't see any other way to get to the tail. Once that's out you'll have very easy access to the hole. A little bit like cutting the wings out of a G4 alicorn to get to her tail.
