I really wish Mother Nature would just stay quiet for a while. I'm sick of these things, we've had too many and I hate the sinking feeling I get when a big one happens. The city is STILL recovering after our 2011 quake and it's nearly 6 years on.

now Japan has a huge earthquake, thats the 2nd time thats happened after us (nz), they must share the same fault line as us.
i think if this happens again we are moving overseas.......as in northern hemisphere

That's a shame! I'm sure it's really scary, but just keep in mind that everywhere has its own big natural disaster that's typical for their region - for us, it's tornadoes, and those can be every bit as devastating as an earthquake, just in different ways. California and the PNW have wildfires and mudslides; the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee recently had a really horrible wildfire, and flash flooding can occur pretty much anywhere.
