they are spanish ponies, not manufactured by hasbro. you can read about them on the wiki ; )

That isn't quite correct They were licensed by Hasbro Hasbro sold a licence to MB and Breker so they could produce MLP. The piggies were manufactured in Spain

Hasbro sold licences to produce MLP to various toy companies all over the world. This is why ponies are made in Italy, Spain, Greece etc

Thanks Pkw    just out of interest how much would a rehair piggy cotton candy (normal symbols) be worth (you rehaired her a few years ago) ?

I thought it would be a lot less than that, that's why I was keeping her. Looks like she's not safe from the purge now!

It is tricky pricing rehairs and my estimate is conservative I paid $150 for my piggy CC who had missing hair, rubbed symbols and a missing pupil. I have replaced the pupil, but I don't think I would get $150 for her if I sold her. She's not going anywhere though
