Hello, someone told me today that Myspace had a big early presence of My Little Pony fans can anyone confirm or deny?

Myspace was pretty influential in it's time. I totally remember being a teenager and having thousands of 'friends' on myspace. LOL. it's weird to these huge social media platforms that used to be household names just die out.

I remember more of a collector presence on DeviantArt back in the early-mid 2000s than on MySpace... But it was long enough ago that I may just not remember.

*sigh* Ah, Myspace... Those were the days. Can't say about mlp stuff though but I wouldn't be surprised. Myspace really opened the doors to social networking and joining "groups" of interests.

I feel like I remember a Livejournal group, but I could be mistaken. lol

I was on Myspace, but wasn't actively collecting much back then. I don't remember there being anything much pony-related that I saw though.

I don't remember it being a lot of pony related. Just making your own unique page (so much better than FB, being able to adjust the layout, background...). I think I had maybe a dozen friends... Yeah, great for networking. 
I actually found more connections to pony peeps on yahoo groups prior to joining here.

LJ was huge for MLP collectors in the early 00s!

Yeah I don't remember so much with MySpace, but do remember there being loads of yahoo and live journal groups. Those were the days.

Ooooooh MySpace. I met my amazing husband back in 2007 on MySpace! Still together strong!  As far as collectors, I never met any pony collectors at the time but lots of doll Collectors!
